The light fixture gets extremly hot and quickly burns out the bulbs. The fixtures also overheat and burn up. I recomnd you look for another product. The fixtures are over priced and underperform.

The lamps were beautiful when they first went in. But they get incredibly hot and of 6 lights, the transformers blew on 3 of them within 1-2 years. They left black spots on my ceiling. I have had the lights 4 years and 3 are still working ok. I try to keep them dimmed so the same won't happen to the remaining 3. I still have enough light. They are very good at providing pleasing light, but looks like they need a little more time on the drawing board in terms of their durability and possibly safety.
